The X2.5 shares the same input and output complement as the X1 and the X2.2. Each of these preamplifiers has one set of single-ended and one set of balanced outputs. Both sets of outputs may be used at the same time. The significant difference between the X2.5 and the X1 is the onboard power supply housed in the single chassis of the X2.5.

The X2.2 is a single chassis non-remote control line stage preamplifier. The main circuit board, power supply, machined chassis, and rear panel are identical to those in the X2.5.

The front panel controls are simple, intuitive, and very convenient to use. The X2.2 has all the functions of the X2.5, except for the fluorescent display, balance control, unity gain and mono switching.

The X2.2 may be upgraded to the X2.5, adding additional functionality and convenience to this preamplifier.
