The
Xono is a high performance phono preamplifier for use with moving
magnet, moving iron and moving coil cartridges. It features extremely
low noise and distortion, high output swing, variable cartridge loading,
variable gain, and balanced output.
The Xono design was based on listening and not measurements. Considering this, it is perhaps remarkable that the final product displays such spectacular objective qualities. A wide range of phono cartridges were used in the development of the Xono, critically evaluated and selected over a wide range of output sensitivity. Continuous listening and circuit refinements led to the current production version of the Xono.
